Morning Prayer

In the Episcopal Church, Morning Prayer is a daily devotional service focused on prayer, readings, and reflection. It’s a shorter service than a Eucharist (communion service) and can be used for personal prayer or as a communal service to begin the day.

The Book of Common Prayer provides a structure, but Morning Prayer can also be adapted for individual use.

Morning Prayer Podcast

Rev. Dr. Chip Lee’s Morning Prayer Podcast on PodBean offers a daily dose of spiritual reflection for Episcopalians or anyone interested in a structured prayer routine. Each episode features readings from the day’s Psalms, New Testament, and Gospel, along with calming meditation music.

These brief services provide a way to start your day focused on scripture and prayer, even if you can’t make it to a physical church service.
